learning disabilities. We serve children
from birth to 21 years of age with
multiple disabilities. Kingsway's
philosophy is: "If a child can't learn
the way we teach, we'd better teach the
way a child can learn."
Service area encompasses Burlington,
Camden, Mercer and Gloucester
Counties in New Jersey, and

Kingsway's Early Intervention Program provides therapeutic support services to the families of infants
and toddlers up to three years of age who show delays in reaching developmental milestones or who have a
specific medical diagnosis that puts them at risk for delays. Family involvement is emphasized every step of the way and services are provided in natural settings. Families may have a cost share for some Early Intervention
Services, based on confidential review of family size and income.

Kingsway's elementary program provides services for students ages 3 to 16 years with multiple disabilities
who show a need for special intervention beyond the scope of public school programs. Program Includes:
 Pre-School Program - "Building Bridges" is a full-day pre-school program for children ages 3 to 5 years old
with medical, learning, communication, sensory and motor challenges.
 Experiential AcademicsFor students ages 11 to 15, this program offers a creative curriculum which
combines a portion of each school day in a traditional classroom setting and another portion of the day
learning functional life skills both in school and the local community.

The Kingsway Secondary Education program provides an educational and therapeutic program for students with
disabilities ages 14 to 21. Programs include:
 Employment Orientation (ages 14-16)An introduction into the exploration of common job clusters while simultaneously
practicing academic skills in another, more practical setting.
 Career Exploration (ages 16-18)The introduction of career possibilities through exploration activities, such as visitations
and job tours, guest speakers and in-house jobs. Academic skills continue to be addressed in traditional and non-traditional ways.
 Community-Based Instruction (ages 18-21)Students explore careers by visiting and attempting given jobs on-site.
Vocational abilities are assessed and work stamina is developed, in addition to the continuation of academic course requirements.
