Day School
 Day school students are assigned to a pod taught by highly qualified teachers with intensive, individualized counseling
provided to all students. This model provides students with a supportive and positive learning environment.
Afternoon Program
Our second program option offers a core academic program from 2:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.. This program provides
small, highly structured classrooms for students with issues related to a large student body, those with childcare
concerns, truancy, or more complex and long standing presenting problems.

Students from kindergarten through eight grades are enrolled
in this program. Class size is small, with a teacher
and assistant in each classroom. Intensive therapeutic
intervention is provided as well as instruction to address
the New Jersey Core Curriculum requirements.

In this program, select Brookfield high school juniors and seniors attend class on the campus of Camden
County College. Along with completing high school course curriculum requirements, students attend college
classes as part of their program.
Children Achieving Success Through Therapeutic Life Experiences
(CASTLE)

CASTLE offers a comprehensive partial care program for youngsters and adolescents experiencing severe
emotional problems or behavioral disorders. Brookfield provides the educational component while students
are attending this program. Students who are classified receive 10 hours per week of instruction, while
non-classified students receive 5 hours per week to maintain and improve academic skills within the context
of a therapeutic environment.
Kennedy Health System Behavioral Health

Kennedy provides both an inpatients and partial care program for youngsters experiencing severe emotional
and behavioral disorders. The inpatient program is located in Cherry Hill, while partial care programs are
provided in both Cherry Hill and Washington Township and Brookfield provides the educational component
of this program. The educational instruction helps the child maintain and improve academic skills within the
context of a therapeutic environment.
Underwood Behavioral Health

Woodbury, NJ 08096
Underwood Behavioral Health is located in Woodbury. Children referred to this program receive therapeutic
intervention in this short-term treatment program. Brookfield Schools provides a certified teacher who supplies the
mandate homebound instruction for the students while they are out of school. Students who receive special education
receive two hours of instruction per day and non-classified students receive one hour per day. The teacher participates
in a transition meeting with professionals from the child's school prior to his/her return to school.
KIT/EXCEL/INSIGHT
The Center for Family Guidance in Camden operates three residential programs for children ages 12-18, offering
intensive therapeutic services. Brookfield Schools provides the educational component to these programs. Currently,
four teachers and three assistants provide diverse and highly creative instruction to meet the unique needs of the students
in these programs.
Therapeutic Live-In Care
Brookfield Academy
Students who live at this group home are provided with homebound instruction by certified Brookfield staff.
Services are provided at Brookfield Academy and students receive 2 hours a day of instruction.
